An Indian business delegation came to visit China, in an attempt to boost bilateral trade amid disputes.

The delegation of roughly 100 members was headed by B Muthuraman, vice president of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and vice chairman of Tata Steel Limited.

The delegation members and Chinese officials discussed visa problems between two sides and Indian enterprises' difficult access to the Chinese market, Muthuraman told reporters in Beijing Friday, where the delegation concluded a four-day visit to Shanghai and Beijing.

Muthuraman visited Huawei, one of China's leading technology producers, but declined to comment on recent disputes on Indian government's restraints on telecom equipment imports from China.

He said there will be a solution to the issue, as both sides have problem solving intentions.

Two Indian telecom firms have been approved by Indian government to buy equipment from Huawei and ZTE, after the two Chinese firms accepted Indian government's tighter rules on security concerns, Reuters reported Friday quoting anonymous sources.

The delegation also held talks with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade on potential opportunities and new fields research for future cooperation, and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) with regard to cooperation in the fields of small- and medium-sized enterprises, said Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General of CII.

ACFIC will send a delegation to visit India in September, according to Banerjee, who said India needs an investment of $1 trillion into infrastructure construction over the next five years, providing an opportunity for Sino-Indian cooperation given China's advantages in public works projects.
