China's stocks closed mixed in the morning trade session Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index losing 0.04 percent to finish 1.13 points lower at 2,840.28.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 12,457.42, up 84.14 points, or 0.68 percent at midday.
