Chinese equities continued to decline at the opening Wednesday after Tuesday's fall to a six-month low.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.85 percent, to open at 2,883.17 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.92 percent to 11,250.53 points.
