Chinese equities close slightly higher at midday Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 3.32 points, or 0.13 percent, to finish the morning session at 2,645.63 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 34.41 points or 0.31 percent to end at 11,124.87 points at midday.
