Chinese equities close higher at midday Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 24.71 points, or 0.94 percent, to end the morning session at 2,664.07 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 191.81 points or 1.73 percent to end at 11,270.66 points at midday.
