Chinese equities close higher at midday Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 37.83 points, or 1.45 percent, to end the morning session at 2,648.57 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 242.38 points higher, or up 2.2 percent, to end at 11,277.11 points at midday.
