China's equities rose slightly at the opening on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.45 points, or 0.09 percent, to 2,665.66.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened higher with a gain of 10.93 points, or 0.09 percent, to 11,541.92.
